Yuletide Celebration at Bharath Institute of Law

Yuletide Celebration at Bharath Institute of Law

Bharath Institute of Law organized a formal Christmas Celebration on 24 December 2025 at the Moot Court Hall, with the objective of fostering communal harmony, institutional fraternity, and value-based campus culture. The programme brought together faculty members, students, and administrative staff and was coordinated by the Mrs. Anitha Rachel and Mrs. Siddhi Shaji, Assistant Professors, along with the Students. This event aimed to foster a sense of togetherness and spread the warmth and joy associated with the Christmas season. The college premises were beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, twinkling lights, and colorful ornaments. The entire campus echoed the festive spirit, with students contributing creatively to make the surroundings vibrant and appealing.

The event started at 12.00 noon with an opening speech by Mrs. Suguna, Assistant Professor, who emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and kindness that Christmas represents. Following the welcome speech, the celebration unfolded with a range of exciting activities like carol singing, a skit on the theme of Christmas, Santa Claus’s arrival and quiz competition. A choir of faculty members sang melodious Christmas carols which filled the air with festive cheers. Following this was a Carol performed by the students’ choir. The next event was a skit depicting the true essence of Christmas - kindness, generosity, and love. The skit conveyed a message of empathy and respect for others, reinforcing the values of compassion and giving.

The arrival of Santa Claus was the highlight, as he distributed sweets and gifts for the winners of Christmas themed quiz competition conducted by Mr. R.Dharani, Assistant Professor, which delighted everyone and spread joy among the students. The celebration came to an end with a vote of Thanks by Mr. Sharath Uthandan, Assistant Professor followed by High tea and snacks for the gathering.

Through this structured and value-oriented celebration, Bharath Institute of Law strengthened institutional camaraderie and reflected the constitutional ethos of dignity, secularism, and fraternity. The programme also contributed to holistic student development by reinforcing ethical sensibilities and promoting inclusive cultural engagement within a professional academic setting. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to ADR Sir, Dean Sir and Associate Dean Sir for their constant guidance and support in organizing the event.
