About Our Library

The College Library serves as a dynamic academic resource centre designed to support legal education, interdisciplinary research, and scholarly excellence. With a specialized collection of 11,132 volumes, the library maintains a strong focus on law while also supporting allied disciplines essential to holistic legal education.

The core collection includes 6,752 law textbooks, carefully curated to cover constitutional law, environmental law, corporate law, criminal law, international law, intellectual property law, and emerging areas such as cyber law and human rights. In addition, 1,437 reference books which includes legal encyclopedias, commentaries, digests, manuals, and law reports that provide authoritative support for advanced legal research and academic writing.

To strengthen research engagement, the library subscribes to a wide range of periodicals, including 841 local, 659 national, and 5 international law journals. These journals enable students and faculty to stay informed about contemporary legal developments, judicial trends, legislative reforms, and comparative legal scholarship. The collection is complemented by resources in social sciences and management, facilitating interdisciplinary understanding and policy-oriented research.

The library is housed in a well-organized 700 sq. ft. facility designed to provide a quiet and conducive learning environment. With a seating capacity of 60 users, the space is equipped with 70 ergonomically arranged chairs to accommodate peak academic usage. The library also provides 20 desktop computers as part E-Library with access to digital legal databases and e-journals, enabling students to conduct online research, access case law, and retrieve scholarly publications efficiently. We use RFID i.e RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is revolutionizing library management by enhancing efficiency, improving user experience, and streamlining operations.

Our institution has implemented RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology as part of its commitment to modernizing library management and improving operational efficiency. RFID plays a crucial role in transforming traditional library systems by enabling faster and more accurate identification, tracking, and management of library resources. This technology enhances overall efficiency by automating routine processes such as book circulation, inventory management, and security monitoring.
