Eligibility Criteria
As per Bar Council of India’s Rules of Legal Education 2008 the eligible Criteria for the courses offered prescribed below.
5 Years Integrated Degree Program
Applicant must have successfully completed the Higher Secondary Education (‘+2’) or equivalent from:
- A recognized Education Board (Central or State),
- A recognized university in India or abroad, or
- Any equivalent qualification/certificate recognized by a competent authority
Acceptable equivalent qualifications include:
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC),
- CBSE / ISC qualifications
- 11+1 system (as in some international schools),
- ‘A’ Level (Senior School Leaving Certificate),
- 3-Year Diploma or 3-Year Polytechnic course (completed from a recognized educational institution).
Eligible Minimum Marks
The Minimum Marks to get eligible is 45% in Higher Secondary Education for all students (40% for SC/ST students)
Not eligible:
Candidates who obtained qualifications solely through open universities, distance learning, or correspondence education without formal school education.
3 Years Law Degree Program
The applicant must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from:
- A recognized Indian University,
- An institution deemed to be a university, or
- A foreign university declared as equivalent to an Indian degree by a competent authority
The degree must be awarded by an institution recognized by competent regulatory bodies
Eligible Minimum Marks
The Minimum Marks to get eligible is 45% in Bachelor Degree for all students (40% for SC/ST students)
