Students’ Grievance Committee
The Students’ Grievance Committee is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for students to express concerns, complaints, or grievances related to academic, administrative, or campus life matters. The committee ensures fair resolution, maintains transparency, and promotes a positive campus culture.
Objectives:
- To provide a structured platform for students to report grievances or issues.
- To ensure timely, fair, and impartial resolution of complaints.
- To promote awareness among students about their rights and responsibilities.
- To maintain confidentiality and protect students from any form of retaliation.
- To enhance the overall learning environment and campus experience.
Functions
- Receiving and acknowledging grievances from students regarding academics, administration, or campus facilities.
- Investigating complaints thoroughly and objectively.
- Providing recommendations for the resolution of grievances in consultation with relevant authorities.
- Maintaining records of complaints and actions taken to ensure transparency.
- Conducting awareness programs and workshops to educate students about grievance mechanisms.
- Advising college administration on systemic issues to prevent recurrence.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory provisions and college policies regarding student welfare.
