Bharath Institute of Law is delighted to announce the participation of its students in the “Thirumathi Pushpa Ishari Velan Ninaivu Tamil Vazhaku Vathurai Potti, 2025”, organized by VELS School of Law, Chennai, on 16th and 17th September 2025. Two enthusiastic teams from Bharath Institute of Law represented the institution with remarkable zeal and dedication. Team I comprised Mr. Shankarakash K. V (III Year B.A., LL.B (Hons.)), Ms. Swetha Sri. S (II Year B.A., LL.B (Hons.)), and Ms. Priyanka R. (III Year B.A., LL.B (Hons.)); while Team II included Mr. S. Sharvalingam (II Year B.A., LL.B (Hons.)), Ms. Kavi Priya Roy. R (IV Year B.B.A., LL.B (Hons.)), and Ms. T. Akshaya Mathi (III Year B.A., LL.B (Hons.)).

The competition brought together participants from several reputed law colleges across Tamil Nadu, providing a vibrant platform for young legal minds to demonstrate their advocacy and argumentation skills in the Tamil language. Both teams from Bharath Institute of Law exhibited outstanding preparation, persuasive reasoning, and professional courtroom demeanor, earning appreciation from the judges and organizers. Their participation not only reinforced their understanding of legal principles but also highlighted the importance of linguistic versatility in the practice of law.

This achievement underscores Bharath Institute of Law’s dedication to promoting bilingual legal education and nurturing future advocates proficient in both English and Tamil legal discourse. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. M. Azimathul Marshiya and Mrs. J. Gandhimathi Scanya, Members of the Moot Court Committee, for their constant mentorship, guidance, and contribution to the teams’ success.
