School of Law (BIHER) proudly congratulates its outstanding students Mr.Navaneeth B (II LL.B. Hons.), Ms.Yamuna B (II LL.B. Hons.), and Mr.Nadar Renisha Goldwin (IV B.A. LL.B. Hons.) — for their remarkable performance in the prestigious 20th Nani Palkhivala Memorial Tax Moot Court Competition, hosted by SASTRA Deemed University.
The team, representing BIHER with great enthusiasm and legal acumen, showcased exceptional talent in both oral advocacy and research. Mr.Navaneeth B served as Speaker 1, with Ms.Yamuna B as Speaker 2, and Mr.Nadar Renisha Goldwin contributed as the Researcher. Together, their cohesive teamwork and deep understanding of complex tax law issues led them to a commendable Quarter-Final placement in the Moot Argument Rounds.
Further highlighting their success, the team earned an impressive 6th place in the Memorial Round out of numerous competitive teams from across the country. This recognition is a testament to the students' dedication, rigorous preparation, and sharp legal writing skills.
The Nani Palkhivala Memorial Tax Moot is one of India’s most esteemed moot court competitions, named in honor of the legendary jurist and economist, Mr. Nani Palkhivala. It provides a prestigious platform for law students to engage with challenging taxation issues and hone their courtroom skills.
