The School of Law (BIHER) has once again brought laurels to the institution through a successful student-faculty collaborative research initiative. A team comprising Mrs. Azimathul Marshiya, Assistant Professor, and students Rajkumar and Saran from IV B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) emerged as the Best Presenters at the International Conference on Cross-Disciplinary Approaches to Trademark Infringement, organized by Saveetha School of Law.
Their paper, titled “Virtual Theft in the Fashion Industry: Cyber-Squatting and Piracy in Fast-Growing E-Commerce Brands”, examined pressing challenges faced by the fashion and e-commerce industries in safeguarding intellectual property amidst digital exploitation.
