The Parent-Teacher Meeting for the academic session was successfully conducted on 26 July 2025, with separate sessions for the 5-Year Integrated Courses and 3-Year LL.B. Courses. The morning session for the 5-Year Programme commenced at 10:00 AM, while the afternoon session for the 3-Year Programme began at 2:00 PM. Both sessions were presided over by Prof. Dr. K. Murugadoss (Dean), along with Mr. R. Sivakumar (Legal Advisor) and Mr. J.V. Naveen (Assistant Professor). The event was meticulously organised by the respective Course Coordinators and Mentors. Parents were warmly welcomed into the campus with refreshments and participated in a purely interactive session, raising various queries regarding academic support, student development, and administrative practices
Dean Prof. Dr. K. Murugadoss provided important insights into the rules and expectations for the upcoming academic year, emphasizing that discipline and punctuality are the cornerstones of student development. He stated that once students cultivate discipline and punctuality, academic excellence naturally follows, and stressed that these values would remain the primary focus throughout the year to ensure holistic growth.
A common request from parents was to receive regular student-related updates on a monthly or weekly basis. Addressing this, Mr. J.V. Naveen explained the availability of the CAMU Parent App, which enables parents to access detailed student information, including attendance records and semester results. He highlighted that the institution follows a dedicated Mentor System and maintains active WhatsApp groups for quick updates. Naveen Sir further reassured parents of the college’s student-centric approach, noting that the university is not profit-driven, offering 100%, 50%, and 25% tuition fee concessions as scholarships. He emphasised that a positive learning environment remains the core vision of the institution, with RO drinking water and other essential amenities ensured for all students.
Additionally, Mr. Saran Kumar (Assistant Professor) elaborated on the functionalities of the CAMU App, guiding parents on how to effectively use it. Students also presented suggestions regarding the extension of internship timelines, to which Mr. J.V. Naveen responded that the college will provide full assistance and that any issues brought to the Dean’s notice will be promptly addressed with appropriate solutions.
The sessions concluded with a Vote of Thanks, delivered by Mrs. R. Radha Devi (Assistant Professor) for the morning session and Mr. R.L. Dharani (Assistant Professor) for the afternoon session, expressing gratitude to the parents, faculty, and administrative members for their active participation and constructive feedback.
The PTM fostered stronger collaboration between the institution and parents, reaffirming the shared goal of ensuring holistic academic and personal growth for all students.
