Bharath Institute of Law is proud to announce the participation of its faculty and student in the 62nd Annual Convention of Chemists & International Conference on “Net Zero Goal & Sustainability: Role of Chemical Sciences in Green Energy, Circular Economy, and Prosperity of India”, organized by the Indian Chemical Society in association with the Department of Chemistry, Madras Christian College (Autonomous), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, held from 18th to 20th December 2025.

At this prestigious international conference, Mrs. Rechal Epziba D, Assistant Professor, along with Mr. A. John Joseph, III Year BA.LLB (Hons.) student, jointly presented a research paper titled “Intellectual Property Rights and Sustainable Chemical Technologies: Legal Pathways for India’s Net Zero Mission.” The paper examined the role of intellectual property frameworks in promoting sustainable chemical innovations and highlighted legal strategies supporting India’s Net Zero and sustainability goals.

This faculty–student collaborative research exemplifies Bharath Institute of Law’s commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and experiential learning. The presentation was well received for its contemporary relevance, policy-driven legal analysis, and its contribution to discussions on sustainability and green technology.
