Bharath Institute of Law proudly announces the remarkable achievement of its students at the One Day International Conference on “Regulatory Invisibility and Socio-Legal Economic Vulnerability of Agricultural Labourers”, organised by Saveetha School of Law on 7th April 2026. The conference served as a significant academic forum that brought together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to deliberate on the pressing socio-legal challenges faced by agricultural labourers, particularly in the context of regulatory gaps and economic vulnerability.
Representing the institution, Mr. R. Elamparithi (V Year B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.)) and Ms. Harsapratha V. (IV Year B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.)) presented a research paper titled “Informal Labour and Regulatory Gaps in the Agricultural Sector.” Their presentation offered a critical and insightful analysis of the structural deficiencies in labour regulation, highlighting the precarious conditions of informal agricultural workers and the need for robust legal interventions. The paper effectively combined doctrinal analysis with socio-economic perspectives, reflecting a deep understanding of labour law frameworks and ground realities.
