Bharath Institute of Law proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its Moot Court team at the Vel Tech School of Law – Lex Invicta National Moot Court Competition 2026, a prestigious national-level legal advocacy platform that witnessed intense competition and participation from several reputed law institutions. The event provided a rigorous forum for students to demonstrate their research acumen, legal reasoning, and courtroom advocacy skills, culminating in the team’s remarkable journey to the Semi-Final round.

The team representing Bharath Institute of Law comprised Ms. Renisha Goldwin (V B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)), Ms. Yamuna (III LL.B. (Hons.)), and Mr. Dhrishith (IV B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.)). The team collectively demonstrated commendable research preparation, strategic argument formulation, and effective teamwork, which contributed significantly to their successful advancement to the Semi-Final stage of the competition.

The institution is especially proud to announce that Mr. Dhrishith J. A. (IV B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.)) was awarded the Best Speaker Award, along with a cash prize of ₹5,000, in recognition of his exceptional advocacy, clarity of arguments, and persuasive articulation before the Hon’ble Bench. His performance reflected deep legal insight, strong command over procedural and substantive law, and exceptional presence of mind under competitive pressure.

This achievement stands as a testament to the institution’s commitment to fostering excellence in advocacy training and experiential legal education. Participation in such high-level moot court competitions equips students with critical skills in legal research, articulation, and analytical reasoning, thereby preparing them for professional legal practice.

The institution extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Respected Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. R. Hariprakash, the Respected Dean, Prof. Dr. K.
